Troop 350 Sugar Mountain Ski Trip Feb. 17th-19th

E-mail Print PDF

altTroop 350 will be checking out the slopes at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Boone, NC  Feb. 17-19th.  Mr. Widgren will be at our next troop meeting, 1/23/12, to collect payments for the ski trip. He has to submit the rooming list to the hotel by 1/25/12 and requires the final number of participants. You must see Mr. Widgren at the next meeting to go on the ski trip!

Hotel reservations were changed to the Hampton Inn due to the Country Inn Suites (CIS) requiring a $2000 non-refundable deposit. CIS required a 30 day notice of cancellation to return our deposit, which with the unpredictable weather is not acceptable. The Hampton Inn only requires a 24 hour notice for cancellation. Sugar Mountain ski area currently has a 28" to 58" snow base, so there should be plenty of snow to ski on. The trip cost is $330/person.  See the attached flyer for more information and email Mr. Widgren with any questions at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thanks,

Brian Widgren
