Service Patrol Duties
These are the duties that should be carried out by the monthly service
patrol at each meeting. Check the calendar for details on the current
service patrol. You should also get a call from the SPL or Executive
Assistant, but it is really the responsibility of the Patrol Leader to
make sure the patrol gets there on time and performs the necessary
duties.
- Arrive 15 minutes before the meeting to setup chairs and
prepare for the meeting
- Carry out the flag ceremony at the beginning of the meeting
- Clean up after the meeting, including:
- Put up all of the chairs and tables correctly
- Clean up and/or sweep the floor, if necessary
- Check around the church (esp. the bathrooms) for anything else
that needs to be cleaned up
- Use discretion and look around for things that need to be done
to prepare for or clean up after the meeting.
