Scout Skills Campout

    It is almost time for our annual scout skills campout at Camp Jackson. This year we are going to narrow the focus to Scout and Tenderfoot requirements. This will leave more leisure time for Saturday Afternoon (and optional time for older scouts to work on advancement).

    The Troop will meet at the Gear garage at 4:30 PM April 17th and return in the morning Sunday April 19th.

    The cost is 35$ per scout plus money for fast food on way to camp Friday night. I will be taking payments by check, cash or Scout account. I am unable to make it this Monday (3-23) but should be at the rest of the meetings between now and the campout.

    March Meeting Plans from PLC

      2nd: We are having a campfire where Balian will give a general speech on campfires and the visiting AOL’s will build fires and prepare skits ( if time allows)


      9th: There is a Wilderness survival first aid  jeopardy led by Colin Schuld.


      23rd: We are having a orienteering meeting led by Mr. Hauser.


      30th: There is going to be a kickball meeting led by Nathan Santo and Ben Dial and they will be getting the American flag and stand. We will also have thorns and roses from the camporee.
